About Kuzhikkattilamma
Opposite to Kuzhikkattillom there is a Bhadrakali temple. Bhadrakali symbolize a protection of God, even though it has a shade of furiousness. In this temple, festivals and luxuries are not allowed. Another belief in Kuzhikkattillom is that if any member of the illom dies, it is believed that of his funeral is conducted opposite to the shrine of the temple, his spirit will get merge with Devi’s. ‘Kuzhikkattillamma’ is also refered to as Tharayilkavu Bhagavathi. Yekhiyamma, Kuttichathan are also worshipped here.
